Methukavathal (Salted)

Methuka Vathal (Salted) is prepared from vegetables that are salted and carefully dried for preservation. These vathals are commonly used in South Indian cooking to prepare flavourful gravies and kuzhambu. When fried, they also serve as a crunchy side dish for curd rice and kanji.
