Manathakkali Vathal

Manathakkali Vathal is prepared using sun-dried black nightshade berries that are widely used in traditional South Indian cooking. These vathals add a distinctive flavour to gravies and kuzhambu. When fried, they become a crispy and slightly tangy side dish that pairs perfectly with curd rice, kanji, and porridge.
